Challenges

RCi assists clients to identify, measure and manage energy-related price risk arising from the fundamental supply and demand adjustments caused by the global energy transition.

It’s a complex topic and our challenge was how to create a brand identity and visual language to fit well with their strapline An essential element for the energy transitionTM

Outcomes

We used the chemical periodic table for inspiration for the logo design re-inforcing RCi as “an essential element”. For the colour scheme we’ve used both green to symbolise the energy transition, and blue to help ground the business as a trusted source of research and intelligence. We used both a wave formation and gradients to symbolise the energy transition which is so central to RCi’s work.

Minimal vectors provide a sophisticated, understated aesthetic, aligning with RCi’s professionalism and expertise.
