Many clients ask us which Content Management System is best for their purposes, so we’ve shared our thoughts below.
Why use WordPress over Joomla!
WordPress is easy to install on the server and it’s simple to use especially if you are making frequent updates to text and imagery within your site. WordPress was originally developed as a blogging tool and it has great features to help with SEO. It’s very popular with end users so there are many plugins and templates to choose from.
Why use Joomla! over WordPress
Joomla! is a very powerful Content Management System generally preferred by developers for its flexibility. It’s easier to customise and create sophisticated applications. Joomla! includes a complex multiple user privilege system with user registration and layered content privileges. Less popular with end users, Joomla! is not as easy to use as WordPress
